monthly update: September

Assalamualaikum..

Ya Allah, rasa mcm dh lama bebenar tak update blog ni kan..

Kekangan masa, siang hari keja, mlm hari mcm biasa la dh blk rumah tu nk kena kemas rumah lagi (mainan anak teruna tu bersepah sana sini, time dia rajin dia kemas la lepas main tu tapi time dia malas dia biar je mainan dia sepah sana sini), nk settlekan laundry lagi, kemas baju lagi, masak lagi (hahaha, yg ni mmg tak la sejak preggie baby#2 ni, beli kedai je takpun hubs yg masak)..

Ni pun curi2 update blog, maklum la kan hari jumaat lunch hour pjg sikit..pastu ofis lengang sbb ramai lunch kat luar..sempat la curi2 update sbb bos takde..tak elok sungguh..updatenya hari jumaat, hari ni br sempat nk publish..entah kenapa payah nk open blogger kat ofis jumaat tu..makanya save kita draft kat word co je la..balk rumah baru publish ye..

Sebenarnya lama tak update blog ni sbb tak tau nk share psl apa..takde benda best pun yg terjadi, takde g mana2 best and takde buat apa2 yg worth sharing..and plus now that I am 33 weeks pregnant lagi la malas nk kuar nak buat itu ini..oh my, dh 33 weeks kan..cepat betul masa berlalu..

So far everything’s okay la..takde morning sickness, evening sickness pun takde..segala jenis sickness mmg takde..sama mcm masa mengandungkan si Firash tu..relax je makan itu ini, jalan sana sini..tau2 je berat dh naik berkilo-kilo, almost 20kg jugak la..nasib badan la..org seksa masa ngandung, ko seksa lepas bersalin, seksa nk buang blk kilo-kilo yg dikutip semasa mengandung tu..

Firash pulak, hmmmm makin manja..tapi kita faham la kan sbb dia nk dpt adik..mak bapak la yg kena bersabar melayan karenah si Firash tu..tak puas mandi nangis, nk susu pun nangis, nk tido pun nangis..bila masa la dia tak nangis..manja sgt2…kalo dh nangis tu siap guling2 baring atas lantai tu..air mata berjuraian..hadoi la anak teruna sorg tu..ini rupanya org tua ckp budak kalo nk dapt adik akan buat perangai..sabar je la..kita pun faham kan..dia budak lagi..Firash tu baru 2 thn lebih..bukannya reti nk meluahkan perasaan dia lagi..ntah2 kita dulu lagi teruk dr anak kita kan..

Baby’s doing okay..ada few brg yg dh beli, ada few brg yg belum beli lagi, ada brg yg guna pakai blk yg Firash punya..apa salahnya kan, kalo elok, guna je la, buat apa membazir..sekarang ni sy tgh review breastpump..sbb masa Firash hari tu pakai Pureen yg manual tu je..sakit wooo..pakai 2  3 kali mcm  tak jln je terus tak guna dh..lagipun masa tu sy tak bekerja so duit/budget kami mmg ciput je la, org kata beli brg asal ada je la..now that sy dh kerja ni, kali ni igt nk beli Medela Swing je..freestyle mahal bebenar (budget kurang okay sbb nk beli sendiri, sy taknak hubs belikan sbb kesian  la kat hubs tu semuanya dia kena beli, mau pokai dia silap2 lepas baby lahir nanti dia kena cari side income)..okay tak Medela Swing tu?

Lagi satu sy tgh review tandem stroller jugak..hubs berkenan Kolcraft Contour LT option..

gmbr dh lama, tapi mcm ni la rupa MacLaren tu..very helful and easy to handle..MacLaren kot...

sy memang sayang nk let go Maclaren ni tapi bila fikir blk, takkan la kami nk kena ada 2 bijik stroller..jenuh weh..Firash pulak jenis nk duduk dlm stoller je, jenis taknak berjalan kat tempat yg ramai org..jadi takkan la nk dukung adik je all the time..awal2 blh la kan, tapi bila adik dh besar nanti susah jugak..tu yg nk beli tandem stroller jugak..tandem je bukan twin yg side by side tu..

A simple NO BAKE Blueberry Cheese Cake

Assalamualaikum semua..

Apa kabar? Lama kan tak jenguk sini..lama dh tak update ttg life and all..selalu update WW je, tu pun create awal2 pastu tekan publish on certain time..hahahaha..ngelat sbb nak senang..

Jadi utk kali ni, I would like to share a very nice recipe that I got from my ex-student. I saw her posted a pic on her facebook, we aren’t really close but she has always been good and respectful to me so I guess we are on a good lecturer-student relationship la kot.. anyway, she posted a pic, a very tempting and scrumptious-looking blueberry cheesecake. And she said that it’s no bake and no flour cheesecake..wahh, terus I rasa mcm nk cuba, sebab at that time I didn’t have an oven..so anything yg takyah guna oven mmg la dialukan..i asked her  the recipe and she gave me plus some other recipes jugak la..she said that since it’s a no bake, no flour cake, it tastes like ice-cream cake sbb we refrigerate (simpan dlm peti ais la) it..okay la kan..selama ni I duk buat pudding caramel yg tak kukus pun mcm tu jugak, simpan dlm peti utk beberapa jam jugak..

Tapi kan, I haven’t tried baking this cake tau, but I have shared the recipe with few colleagues yg suka baking. One them said yg this cake mmg rasa mcm ice-cream cake, but she said it depends on the cheese that u use la..it’s worth trying, it might not be as good as the baked one, but boleh la kalo nk buat hidangan ptg kecil-kecilan kat umah..

So here’s the recipe. I igt nk buat utk bday colleague nanti..we’ll see la, if rajin maka jadi la, kalo tak I beli je kek kat kedai..teeheehee ;)

THE BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE

For base:
3/4 packet of biskut marie
3-4 tbsp melted butter

For cheese filling:
500gm cream cheese- Philadelphia or Tartura
1/2 can of F&N condensed milk (kalau other brand use 3/4)
1/2 cup of whipped cream
1tsp halal gelatine(Nona brand)
3tbsp hot water
1/2 cup of blueberry jam/filling

Steps:
1. For base. Blitz the biskut marie until well-crushed. Add melted butter. Pulse until combined. Press the crumbs into a spring form tin; making it as the base of your ciskek.
2. Whip cream until thick and stiff.
3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
4. Beat in condensed milk. Fold in whipped cream and also the blueberry jam. Dissolve gelatine with hot water, mix well into filling.
5. Pour on top of biscuit base.
6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until firm.

kami buat simple2 je sebab tak tau nk buat kat mana lagipun.
nak buat kat rumah ni, ni bukan rumah kami sendiri, rumah kakak ipar so mcm tak sedap la nak jemput ramai org kan...
lagipun nanti i rasa mcm serba tak kena sbb yelah, rumah org, kita tak bebas nk buat apa..
insyaAllah, next year kami dh akan duduk rumah sendiri so any events will be organized there..
nanti boleh la kami jemput our friends, relatives (fyi, my relatives sahaja dh ramai tau).

so husband said to have it outside je la..kali ni celebrate dgn family dia je dulu sbb my family members kan mostly are in Kelantan, Bibi is in Tronoh and papa outstation minggu tu..i will organize another celebration bila i blk Kelantan nanti. 


 so we went to Sg.Gabai Waterfall. it was my first time there and Firash's first time mandi air terjun..

dh lama tak bekerja tetap, so dh tak tau nak expect apa dan apa nak buat..
tapi apa pun, i will try my best for my son and of course my husband..

owh, btw, sape2 tau psl indexer..i am now an indexer at one of the MNC's in cyberjaya..
i googled and look for some info but then every info that i got is redundant and most websites talk about the same thing..mungkin kena tanya ex-students yg amik IS kot..rasanya diorg ada subjek indexing..

perasaan seorang ibu

alhamdulillah, Ahmad Firash dh semakin membesar dengan sihat dari segi fizikal, mental dan yang lain-lain..
insyaAllah, bulan 5 ni Ahmad Firash akan melangkah ke usia 1 tahun..
dan bulan 5 ni jugak, mama Firash akan mula bekerja sebagai pekerja tetap..no more free-lancing and part-timing..wuwuwu..
dh kena kerja office hours from 9.00am to 5.30pm, every weekdays..nasib baik la kat cyberjaya, boleh la car-pool dgn mr.hubs bila dia dh start kerja normal office hours bulan 6 nanti..hehehe..dan boleh la lunch date dgn mr.hubs every once in a while..


syukur Alhamdulillah di atas rezeki ini ya Allah..sesungguhnya hanya Engkau yang mampu memberi kesenangan buat hamba-hambaMU.
Alhamdulillah, segala kerisauan tentang kewangan keluarga dh didengari oleh Allah..walaupun husband can  afford to settle all the monthly debts (car loan, housing loan, groceries, unifi, phone bills, astro, electricty bill, parents' loan, security fees, and other daily expenses) and we still have money to spend here and there and on this and that tapi still la, i want to help him..kita ni hidup sebagai isteri takleh la nak pentingkan kesenangan diri sendiri je smpai  nak biarkan suami je tanggung semua kesusahan..kalau dulu sebelum kahwin berjanji nak susah sama-sama, senang sama-sama, tapi bila dh kahwin buat tak tau je..tak elok la macam tu kan..sebab tu la, i tried my best to ease my husband's burden and help him in any way i could..Alhamdulillah, dgn gaji yang tak seberapa ni boleh la i cover mana yg patut mcm sambung byr loan DuBuK @ DeBiK tu, Firash's nursery fees (standard la kan harga kl kan, 280 okay), home bills and etc..

kerja baru akan start bulan 5 ni..i dh tak berada dlm profession pendidikan but i will never stop teaching..teaching is what i like doing the most..jadi i akan tetap mengajar sebagai tenaga pengajar sambilan..it's not about the money, it's about the excitement and satisfaction of being a teacher..sungguh, kepuasan mengajar tu lain dari yang lain..

dalam pada excited itu, it worries me to think of leaving Firash at the nursery..can he survive there? will he be okay? will he fit in? will he be treated and handled nicely? will they care for him and not ill-treat him? ya Allah, macam-macam kerisauan dan persoalan yang ada..tapi apakan daya, terpaksa juga tinggal dia kat nursery.. tak sanggup nak mintak mama jaga dia sebab nanti mama mesti suruh tinggalkan Firash dgn mama kat Kelantan, tu yg setuju je bila husband kata tinggal je la kat nursery kat row dpn tu..nak cari pengasuh mmg susah kat sini..memang tak jumpa la, kalau jumpa pun dia dh tanak amik budak dh sbb dia dh jaga ramai..wuuwuwuuwuu TT..risaunya la ya Allah..semoga Ahmad Firash sentiasa berada di dalam jagaan mereka yang baik ya Allah..semoga Ahmad Firash sentisa dilindungi olehMu dan disayangi oleh semua ya Allah..

alhamdulillah, Ahmad Firash dh cukup berani utk berjalan tanpa sokongan papa atau mama..
laju je dia..excited benar dia dpt berjalan..


sabtu lepas, lepas blk dari kelas master, kami sekeluarga singgah umah parents husband kat desa pandan.dh smpai desa pandan, husband ckp nak singgah kedai bata kat sana, nak cari sandal basahan utk Ahmad Firash katanya la..takkan la nk jln petang kat area umah pun nk pakai yg mahal kot kan..pokai la papa mama dia..lagipun kaki si buntat ni cepat panjang dan kembang..kasut dia yg sebelum ni semuanya dh takleh pakai pdhal kami beli 2 3 saiz besar dr size sebenar..kaki dia jenis kembang dpn..tak tau la ikut sape..belek punya belek, jumpa la sandal bublegummers tu, tgk harga rm30 so husband kata amik je la..sekali masa nk byr budak tu kata rm10 je sbb tgh buat clearance sale..alhamdulillah, murah rezeki Ahmad Firash..

2nd sequence: Firash ajak papa kat badminton court

disebabkan dia dh blh berjalan ni, papa dia bukan main excited nk bawa anak keluar jln petang2..semalam kami bawa la Firash ke playground Bayu Parkville ni..mula-mula letak dia dlm basikal dia tu, bila dh smpai playground papa dia pun keluarkan dia dari basikal and pimpin tgn dia nak biar dia berjalan..amboi, laju benar dia jln..seronok sgt la tu kan Firash kan..sana nak pergi, sini nak pergi, alih2 papa dia kena pimpin tgn kalau tak ntah ke mana la dia pergi..

my pregnancy guide book

i'm sure all mothers will agree that going through pregnancy can be very exciting, nerve-wrecking and tiring..you don't know what to expect and to do especially if you are pregnant with your first child..agree? when a woman gets pregnant, she embarks on a journey that will be remembered and cherished forever..there are a lot things a pregnant mother needs to know and be aware of..she needs to equip herself with all sorts of information so that she can go through not only the pregnancy but also the labour and motherhood with ease..

when i found out that i was pregnant, at that time it was 5 weeks, i was clueless and helpless..my husband was living in KL while i was in Kelantan..i was afraid to tell my mother at that time because she told me to wait until i finish my Masters Degree because she knows that the weekly travelling can be tiresome and might affect my pregnancy..(a mother knows what is best for her children)...so i told my father first instead of my mother..he said not to worry and to take care of myself..when my mother found out, (obviously my father told her) she cleaned my room and and had all safety precautions..thank u mama..

i learned about pregnancy, what to expect and what to do from my mother and also my aunts..but i had to have another source that i can always refer to whenever i need to know something or whenever my parents are not around..i told my husband that i need to buy a pregnancy book and so we went to MPH and looked for a book..there are so many guide books but only a few are relevant or written by fellow Malaysians..as i was about to give up, i found this book written by a Malaysian author..i browsed through it and i found it to be very interesting, useful and helpful as well..

and so i would like to recommend this book to all the pregnant mothers, especially those wore are going through it for the first time, who need some source that they can refer to..it is not expensive at all..it costs about rm20, i think it's rm18.90..it is not as thick as other books are..and most importantly it is written by a Malaysian..

let me give few things that i found useful in this book:
1) the ultra sound chapter..
every parents would, at least once,want to have ultra sound one so that they know how the baby is      doing..the author also highlighted the pros and cons of doing ultra sound and the types of ultra sound available in Malaysia..

2) My Pregnancy Diary
the book has a pregnancy diary in which this section of the book gives you all the info you need to know about the months of pregnancy, starting from month 1 to month 9..

3) My Pregnancy Calendar
this is sort of a calendar that tells you the everyday development of your baby and yourself as well. i found this to be very useful..i even put a date on each box so that i know where i am on that calendar and i can guess my edd based on the calendar..i always refer to this calendar when i want to know the development of a particular day, for example on my baby's day 55 or 7 weeks 6 days of living in my womb..it's good isn't it?

so people, go and grab a copy of this book..it's worth the buy...

how to get the shoutmix box eh? i tried logging in at the website but there seemed to be some error in processing my shoutmix box..what should i do? did i miss some steps? can anyone help me?

hye there..
well, as u can guess from the title..this is my first entry in my very first blogging world..
...yay me..
i've been reading people's blogs, be it friends, families and students owh and even strangers (they do have interesting things to share) for quite some time..i guess the feelings of wanting to have my very own blog came in when i found few blogs that are interesting and fun.

i hope that i will be able to put my thoughts in this expressive blog as much as i could..it's one thing to have a blog but it's another to be able to keep it alive...all the best for me ..
