fuhh, dh lama tak update blog, sejak dh keja full time ni memang malas betul nak update..
blk keja je melayan anak, pkl 10 je dh tido dh..
i am still trying to adapt myself to the working hours and still adjusting to everything. Alhamdulillah, 2 3 hari ni dh tau mcm mana nak sesuaikan masa dan keadaan utk masak bila blk rumah..bosan la mkn luar selalu.
owh ya, this particular post is for the update of our very own house.,setakat ni, few major things dh settle such as the plaster ceiling and putting all the lights and fans at their places.
my husband ni agak rajin mencari info ttg plaster ceiling yg murah and all. kami amik masa 2 bulan utk survey harga dan craftsmanship dulu. mula-mula i suggest utk pasang cornice je sbb murah tapi ntah mcm mana dia berjaya jumpa satu tauke yg boleh bagi harga murah untuk buat mcm L-box tu. so apa lagi, kami pun terus setuju je la..ceiling rumah kami dh memang direka plaster ceiling so tinggal nak hias cornice atau buat L-box je la..kami tak buat for the whole house, just the living hall and the dining hall..sebab situ la tempat tetamu kan..hehehe..
for these two halls, the chinese man gave us rm2100 sahaja..that covered the L-shaped boards, the switches, the wires, the installation of the 16 down-light lamps and also the 5 hooks for the 5 fans. dh la ceiling kat linving hall rumah kami agak tinggi tau. jadi pada kami harga tauke ni agak murah la as compared to other places. sgt berbaloi okay. kualiti kerja pun sgt memuaskan..Ah-Fatt a.k.a the tauke ni from seremban tapi he's doing works all over Malaysia. sebelum rumah kami, dia buat satu bungalow kat melaka. dia pernah buat kerja utk rumah kat penang tau..dia takde charges utk kira celing dulu ke apa ke, dia akan dtg kira pastu if u tanak amik dia pun dia tak marah..
lampu semua kami beli sendiri la, and plus, kami mintak dia tlg tarikkan wayar lampu and tlg pasangkan hook utk kipas. kalo ikutkan hati nak minta dia pasangkan kipas terus tapi dia takde masa la sebabnya dia la tauke dia la pekerja. dia mmg specialize in plaster ceiling sahaja..dia siapkan the whole house dlm 3 4 hari sahaja.

owh ya, we know one shop yg jual lampu yg memang murah dan okay..ada lampu yg dari rm9 sahaja tau..kedai ni memang la ramai pengunjung, memang sesak especially on weekends. siap ada no giliran lagi tau bila nak bayar. so far, semua lampu dan kipas kami beli kat sini je. kedai ni kat puchong. owh nama kedai ni ialah Houses Lighting Enterprise..hari tu ada snap gmbr kedai ni tapi tak tau la dlm phone husband ke phone sendiri.
lampu yg kami beli ni semuanya murah2. for the whole house we only spent around rm1000-1500, tak smpai rm1500 i think..we bought:
- 4 normal regulator fans, brand Alpha, black in colour
- 1 remote control fan, brand Alpha, black in colour (this is for the living hall)
- 16 down-lights (black and white stripes) (32 watts each)
- 2 dark wood-coloured square-shaped ceiling lights (for the bedrooms)
- 1 dark-wood rectangular-shaped wall light (for the guest room yg ceiling dia mmg tinggi nak mampus)
- 2 white-coloured square-shaped ceiling lights (for the bathrooms)
- 2 hanging porch lamps
- 2 porch lamps yg kena letak atas tiang pagar tu
so sekarang ni tgh tunggu wak indon tu tarik lampu yg kat luar rumah, utk porch lamps yg atas pagar tu.
bila wak dh siapkan kerja dia, kami akan proceed dgn istallation of the kitchen cabinet pulak..
